Help us rebuild our home and secure a future for Slide Ranch for generations to come.
Slide Ranch has broken ground on our new Farm-to-Table Teaching Center!
On Saturday May 21, we broke ground on the new Farm-to-Table Teaching Center at Slide Ranch!
Slide Ranch is an incredibly beautiful place with abundant natural resources. However, our facilities are in dilapidated condition. If we don’t begin renovating our campus soon, we are in danger of losing this special place that reaches 10,000 schoolchildren and families each year for immersive and transformational nature education experiences.
Thanks to the belief and generosity of our family of donors, we are now poised to begin the rebuilding of the Slide Ranch campus, one building at a time, in a way that honors the past while preparing us for the next 50 years.
Once complete, the Farm-to-Table Teaching Center will include a dedicated classroom space, a commercial teaching kitchen, a living roof, adjacent teaching gardens, two external decks (including one overlooking the Pacific Ocean), and the building will be completely ADA compliant.
We are excited, but we still have a little work to do before we can finish the new Center. Help us secure a critical $100,000 challenge gift.
We have raised $600,000 of the $1 million that we need for the Center.
Last month, we secured a $100,000 challenge gift from a new donor. If Slide Ranch can raise an additional $300,000 for the project, the donor will make the $100,000 gift to Slide Ranch.
Can you help us complete the fundraising for the Farm-to- Table Teaching Center and secure the $100,000 challenge gift?
There has never been a more urgent moment for Slide Ranch to get its physical plant in order. We thought the day we would have a new campus would never come, but with your help it will.
