Adopt-An-Animal Program FAQ’s

All adoptions are valid for one year and are renewable. "Adoption" does not imply ownership, naming right, or exclusive privilege with regards to a specific animal at Slide Ranch. If you have questions or if the animal of your interest is not on the list, please e-mail development@slideranch.org. 

Do I get to take the animal home with me?

The Adoption program is a symbolic adoption and the animal will remain at Slide Ranch. 

Will anyone else adopt this animal?

Yes. It takes the support of more than one adoption to feed and care for an animal all year. All adoptions support the care and feeding of the animal residents at Slide Ranch. 

Can I name my Adopted animal?

All our animal residents have names and we are more than happy to add it to your certificate upon request.

When I visit Slide Ranch, do I get special access to the animal I adopt?

For the safety of our animals, and you, all access to animals must be done with a staff member during planned visits.
