Our Camp Programs are inspired by the greater-than-ever need to connect kids with nature and with each other! We feel fortunate to be able to provide an inspirational place for them to explore and thrive. Slide Ranch Camps offer children the opportunity for safe outdoor play and nature exploration.

Campers spend their week immersed in nature, practicing farming and environmental stewardship, and exploring Slide Ranch’s rich and varied landscape, from native plants and animals in the coastal scrub to the rocky inter tidal zones of the coast. Slide Ranch encompasses the edge where wild lands meet human habitation and agriculture. These environments naturally inspire wonder, curiosity and myriad opportunities for learning, growth, and fun - all at our working ranch on the stunning Marin County coast.

Each camp week will feature a unique theme full of creative, hands-on activities led by our team of skilled Outdoor Instructors. Campers will help care for our herd of sheep and goats, tend our flocks of chickens and ducks, hike coastal trails, explore tide pools, get creative with wool and nature crafts, tend and harvest our organic garden, cook and eat farm fresh food, and more. This engaging experience will nurture a life-long appreciation of the outdoors and help your child explore how people and the environment are connected.

  • Slide Ranch is happy to offer an opportunity for children to come for a day (or three!) of camp during the school break. Adventures will vary depending on weather and the interests of the group. These camps will run 9:30am - 2pm. Registration opens Wednesday 11/20/24!

  • The weather may be unpredictable, but exploring our amazing watershed is always a blast! Come enjoy the wet season during Slide’s Winter Camp. Winter Camp hours are 9:30am - 3pm.

  • Spring at Slide is a season of growth, birth, and wonderful bounty. Be sure to join us to experience is all during our Spring Camp! Spring Camp hours are 9:30am - 3pm.

  • An exciting way to light up any young person’s summer. Each week will feature a unique theme!

Camp is appropriate for children ages 5-11.

Campers bring their own bagged lunch and snack each day, and receive a Slide Ranch t-shirt.

Slide Ranch welcomes experienced Counselors in Training (CITs - formerly JEEs), 14-17 years old, for our Winter and Spring Camps. Youth ages 12-17 interested in becoming a CIT for our Summer Camp are required to for our CIT/Youth Leadership training offered in May/June.

We firmly believe in the transformative power of camp and are committed to ensuring no child is denied an experience at Slide Ranch because of financial need.
