Set on the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Slide Ranch combines breathtaking natural beauty with a down-to-earth vibe for your next event. In addition to weddings, the site is well-suited for retreats, workshops and conferences, family reunions, birthdays, and bar/bat mitzvahs. Slide Ranch is located just north of Muir Beach on Highway One, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Our beautiful site is approximately 30 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Want to chat? Weddings
With a plethora of breathtaking natural vistas and backdrops for wedding events and photos, Slide Ranch is the ideal setting for couples who love the outdoors and want a laid-back atmosphere for their special day. Say “I do” on our sweeping lawns framed by the stunning scenery of the California coast, then party into the night in our traditional Mongolian yurt. The natural lighting at Slide Ranch is gorgeous, particularly in the late afternoon when the sun is setting over the Pacific. There is also a trail stretching from the wedding ceremony area right down to the sands, which offers plenty of stunning natural locations for couple portraits and sunset shots, backed by the rugged rock formations of the coast. When you book Slide Ranch you have exclusive use of the sprawling wedding venue for you and your guests. Better yet, you can BYOB and use your own caterer. Because Slide Ranch is an environmental education non-profit organization, you know your money is going to a worthy cause.

The Dome and Meadow:
New in 2017: We've built our Farm to Table Teaching Center! It has a new professional kitchen and large outdoor deck outfitted with Restoration Hardware furniture. The deck also has sweeping views of the Pacific:

Group Campsite
A quick eight minute walk from the farmstead along a beautify coastal trail is the group campsite. Located on a flat, grassy bluff overlooking the ocean, the site can accommodate up to 40 people for overnight camping. Also at the site is a geodesic Dome useful for cooking, eating, and storing food. A propane powered stove-top, plates, cups, utensils, pots and pans are supplied. The presence of the Dome adds comfort and ease to the campsite, but it has not been constructed or maintained to accommodate sleeping. An outhouse and solar-powered lights are available at the site, though there is no running water or electricity.
Glamping
Our bell tents measure over 200 square feet inside
(16.7 feet in diameter) and are almost 10 feet tall in
the center. Enjoy your outdoor oasis fully furnished and styled with rugs, one or two full-size beds, high-quality linens, decorative pillows and nightstands. We also provide an outdoor table and chairs, a lantern and outdoor lights. Upon your arrival, we will provide roomy wheelbarrows to easily bring your personal items to our Dome Campsite area. The Yurt:
The Yurt is a circular canvas structure with a clear skylight, wooden floor, and wood burning stove. From inside the Yurt, you can hear the muted sound of waves crashing on the rocky shore below. Inside the Yurt can comfortably accommodate up to 40 people for meetings, workshops, dancing, performance art and other celebrations, up to 100 people standing . We provide picnic tables and 20 folding chairs. The Yurt has electricity, an outside source of cold drinking water and port-o-potty located near by.
Special Events- Birthdays, Memorials, Retreats
Various sites at Slide Ranch can be used for celebrations and gatherings . In addition to the places mentioned above, our garden area under the shade of several cypress trees provides a lovely gathering space.
Film Shoots
Join Disney, Volvo, Levis, and others who have used Slide Ranch to film their TV show or commercial. Our backdrops include everything from farm animals to pastures, rocky coasts, and ribbon highways. Contact us directly for a custom quote.
