INSTRUCTIONS FOR RINSING/WASHING TIE-DYED SHIRTS:

  • Leave damp shirt rubber-banded, in the bag, for at least 12 hours.  24 hours is better.

  • Rinse shirt under COLD, running water.

  • Wear gloves or put hands in plastic bags for this step.  Remove rubber bands then continue rinsing until water runs fairly clear.

  • Wash rinsed shirt, in a sink, in very HOT water with liquid dish soap. Rinse and repeat.

  • You may want to launder shirt in isolation for the first couple of washings.  After that, you can wash along with other items as usual.

  • Please have your child wear tie-dye camp shirt this Friday!
