Our Family Campouts offer the very special opportunity to pitch your tent at our Coastal Scrub meadow campsite overlooking the ocean. This is a wonderful opportunity for your family to come enjoy the trails, tide pools, plants and animals of Slide Ranch.
The campsite is a 10-15 minute hike down a trail from our parking area, and it includes a Geodesic Dome (for food storage) and a composting privy. We will provide sturdy wheelbarrows for you to transport your camping gear down the trail. We request that you please bring your own picnic dinner and breakfast.
If weather conditions permit, we will host an evening campfire.
Pre-registration opens on January 16 for members, and on January 30 for the general public.
